We’ve assisted 9,365 boats in distress at maritime borders of Europe- Alarm Phone
Alarm Phone, an organisation that provides independent support for people crossing the Mediterranean Sea to the EU says it has assisted 9,365 boats in distress at maritime borders of Europe since it was launched in 2014.
The organisation disclosed this on its X handle, promising to do more in the days ahead.
The post reads: “Since Alarm Phone was launched in 2014, we’ve assisted 9,365 boats in distress at the maritime borders of Europe. Last year alone, we accompanied over 1,500 boats on the phone. This year, we will continue our struggle against borders and for the freedom of movement of all.”
