Seebrüecke, others to protest in Kassel, Weimar over tightening of asylum regulations
Seebrüecke International on Wednesday announced that it will this weekend be protest in Kassel, and Weimar over tightening of asylum regulations.
Seebrüecke said it will be working with other organizations to stage the protest.
It said: “Together with other organisations, we will continue to take our anger against the tightening of asylum regulations and the so-called “security package” to the streets! This weekend we will be on the streets in Kassel and Weimar!
“The border closures, the tightening of asylum laws, the deportation offensive and the federal government’s “security package” are a fundamental attack on human and basic rights. This will worsen the already precarious living conditions and everyday life of refugees.”
Seebrüecke noted that the Ampel parties are focussing on further disenfranchisement of people seeking protection, isolation and the surveillance state. “In doing so, they are further fuelling the spiral of hatred and agitation. We must stop this.
“We cannot accept these conditions and the progression towards a state in which human rights no longer have a place. Join an action in your area or organise a demonstration yourself!”
