Seven hundred and twenty displaced in Tahala

No fewer than 720 people have been dispalced in Tahala area of Libya by flood incidents.

The International Organization for Migration, IOM,Libya, announced this in a terse statement.

It said: Seven hundred people have been displaced in Tahala due to flooding from heavy rains in southwestern Libya. IOM’s mobile health teams are on the ground, providing urgent medical care to those affected in both Tahala and the Ghat region- where over 5,800 people remain displaced.”

It also announced that the IOM marked International Youth Day in Tripoli, Bani Walid & Ajdabiya “with activities for youth and migrants, covering risks of irregular migration, digital well-being, entrepreneurship & skill development. Special thanks to deaf community activists for sharing their inspiring stories.”
