Resqship says Nadir crew has treated and disembarked people it rescued at Lampedusa.

Four days ago, Resqship said 39 people – including 2 babies – fled Libya in a rubber boat that began to lose air. “When the group came across an empty boat, some of them climbed into it to prevent their boat from sinking. A fisherman who saw the drifting boats called for help.”

Following this distress call, Resqship said the #Nadir crew located the boats and took everyone on board.

“The people were exhausted, many with severe burns from the toxic mixture of salt water & fuel, & were treated by the paramedics. The crew disembarked everyone safely in #Lampedusa.”
