The United Kingdom has removed 74 migrants who it said has no business of staying in the country in less than a week.

The Home Office announced this n a separate tweets on its X handle.

The Home Office made the posts on  April 5 and 11. It was not, however, stated if the removals were done on the stated dates.

The April 11 post reads:  “Today we removed 36 more people with no right to be in the UK on one of our regular returns flights. This included foreign criminals whose sentences totalled more than 39 years.”

On April 5 removal notice says: “Today we removed 38 more people with no right to be in the UK – including foreign criminals whose sentences totalled more than 54 years – on one of our regular returns flights.”

Elated by its recent feats in cutting down the number of people entering into the country, the Home Office said: “We’ve acted to deliver the biggest-ever cut in legal migration, protect British workers, and to build an immigration system fit for the future.

“Under these new measures approximately 300,000 people who arrived in the UK last year would no longer be able to. We’re delivering the biggest-ever cut in legal migration and an immigration system that works for the British people. We have increased the family visa minimum income requirement.  This will ensure people only bring dependants to the UK they can financially support.”
