Wadi Kaam rescues 130 off Qarabolli, patrols interdict 100
One hundred and thirty migrants have been rescued by Libyan Coast Security PV Wadi Kaam with 100 migrants interdicted by security patrols off Zawiya Coast.
Migrant Rescue Watch which announced the developments said: “Libyan Coast Security PV “Wadi Kaam” (P-300) rescued off the coast of Qarabolli 130 #migrants of different nationalities. All disembarked in Tripoli and upon provision of humanitarian assistance were transferred to DCIM custody.
“Coast Security patrols interdicted off the coast of Zawiya a heavily overloaded rubber boat with ca. 100 #migrants of mainly sub-Saharan nationalities. All transferred to Zawiya for disembarkation. #migrantcrisis #DontTakeToTheSea #seenotrettung #Frontex”
