Female migrants, children arrested for panhandling
Passport Investigation Department in Ajdabiya has apprehended 16 undocumented female #migrants including children of different nationalities for panhandling in public areas, a statement by Migrant Rescue Watch has said.
All the apprehended people were transferred to the department’s headquarters for legal action.
In a separate incident, patrols in Ajdabiya arrested red-handed an Egyptian #migrant belonging to a network of panhandlers while fraudulently claiming that he collects funds for his sick mother.
The individual was transferred to Passport Investigation Department for legal action.
