CID nabs four Nigerien migrants extorting co- nationals
Four migrants of Nigerien nationality have been arrested for extortion.
They were caught for extorting co- nationals by CID in Brak.
Migrant Rescue Watch puts the arrest thus: “CID in Brak following an investigation arrested 4 undocumented #migrants of Nigerien nationality responsible for kidnapping, torture and extortion of co-nationals. During operations police was able to free 4 victims also of Nigerien nationality.
“The accused were transferred to Brak Al-Shatti Security Directorate pending referral to public prosecutor and the victims to Brak General Hospital for medical care after being beaten and tortured by the kidnappers. #migrantcrisis #DontTakeToTheSea #seenotrettung.”
