239 migrants removed from UK in February 2024
As February winds down in about 24 hour’s time, a total of two hundred and thirty nine migrants have so far been removed from the UK by the authorities.
The removals took place on five different occasions within the month.
The statistics was obtained from the various removal information provided by the UK Home Office on its X handle.
The number may likely increase if the authorities remove more people in the last hours of the month.
Below are dates of various removals announced and accompanying information provided by the UK Home Office.
Feb 27: Today we removed another 50 people who had no right to be in the UK, on one of our regular returns flights.
This included criminals convicted of attempted murder, rape and child sex offences.
Dangerous foreign criminals have no place in this country.
Feb 22: Today we removed another 48 people who had no right to be in the UK, on one of our regular returns flights.
This included criminals convicted of producing, possessing and intending to sell drugs.
Dangerous foreign criminals have no place in this country.
Feb 15: Dangerous foreign criminals have no place in this country.
Today we removed another 49 people who had no right to be in the UK, on one of our regular returns flights.
This included criminals convicted of weapons and drug offences.
Feb 13: Dangerous foreign criminals should have no right to stay in the UK.
Today we removed another 31 people who had no right to be in the UK, on one of our regular returns flights.
This included criminals convicted of aggravated burglary, brothel keeping, blackmail and assault.
Feb 1: Today we returned a further 61 people with no right to be in the UK.
This included people convicted of serious crimes, including child grooming and firearms offences.
