DCIM resumes security patrols in Benghazi, targets migrants

The Department for Combating Illegal Migration, DCIM, resumed in Greater Benghazi regular security patrols.

Migrant Rescue Watch who disclosed this said the DCIM will be targeting migrants and foreign workers for purpose of verifying immigration status and validity of health certificates.

It also stated that the Libyan Coast Security Dir. Maj.Gen. Al-Bashir Belnour conducted inspections in Eastern Libya for purpose of identifying needs and challenges of CS detachments. “During visit the director also inaugurated the opening of CS Juliana Station in Benghazi,” Migrant Rescue Watch said.
