180 undocumented migrants arrested in Zuwara, Libya
About 180 migrants have been arrested in separate raids conducted by Western Region Support Force in Zuwara City, Libya
All the apprehended migrants according to Migrant Rescue Watch have been transferred to WRSF HQ pending DCIM notification.
“Western Region Support Force conducted in Zuwara city raid on human smuggler’s warehouse and apprehended ca. 80 undocumented #migrants including women and children of different nationalities readying for boat crossing,”Migrant Rescue Watch announced this afternoon.
The organization had earlier announced the arrest of 100 undocumented migrants. The announcement reads: “Western Region Support Force conducted in Zuwara area raid on human smuggler’s warehouse and apprehended over 100 undocumented #migrants incl. women & children of African nationalities readying for boat crossing.
All transferred to WRSF HQ pending DCIM notification.”
