DCIM repatriates Egyptian migrants, Police arrest five Sudanese
The Department for Combating Illegal Migration (DCIM) has repatriated eight Egyptian migrants from Tobruk Immigration Detention Center.
The DCIM also transferred another two Egyptian migrants from Al-Marj Immigration Detention Center.
Migrant Rescue Watch DCIM shared the information in a series of post on its X handle formerly known as Twitter.
The messages read:
“DCIM repatriated from Tobruk Immigration Detention Center 8 #migrants of Egyptian nationality via Emsaed land border crossing. The group comprised of 6 security and 2 medical cases.
“DCIM transferred from Al-Marj Immigration Detention Center 2 #migrants of Egyptian nationality for repatriation. Both undocumented cases.”
Migrant Rescue Watch also told that police patrols in Emsaed apprehended 5 undocumented #migrants of Sudanese nationality who have entered Libya illegally. “All transferred to Emsaed Police Dept. pending DCIM notification. #migrantcrisis #DontTakeToTheSea #seenotrettung #Frontex”
