MSF International, an International, independent medical humanitarian organization, has expressed concerns over the number of trucks allowed to take aids into Gaza.

MSF described the trucks going through Rafah as insufficient.

“The number of trucks allowed to deliver aid into #Gaza through the Rafah crossing on 21 October is totally insufficient compared to the desperate needs of the people, who have been under complete siege and relentless bombing for two weeks,”MSF International said.

Prior to the siege, it said: “hundreds of trucks with supplies entered Gaza every day as the Strip is crucially reliant on external aid. Food, water and medicine are still desperately needed.

“It is critical that fuel be allowed into Gaza, as this is essential for lifesaving hospital operations as well as the availability of clean water.

“It is vital that more aid is delivered to Gaza on a regular basis and that a safe passage is ensured to allow aid to reach areas where the needs are greatest. We stand ready to deliver medical supplies to Gaza if given an opportunity to do so.”
