Six h’traffickers jailed 30 years each
Blue Dragon has helped young girls being sold into slavery by human traffickers to get justice.
The traffickers, six of them were jailed 30 years each.
“A big day in court: Blue Dragon represented the victims of a trafficking ring that was selling girls into slavery. All six traffickers have been sentenced, with the ring leaders receiving the maximum penalty of 30 years.”
Blue Dragon noted that children who drop out of school are vulnerable to human trafficking. “In rural areas, 40% of the children Blue Dragon assists have left school because of financial difficulties at home.
“A little help to pay school fees can be all it takes to get kids back to the classroom.”
