Colin Yeo, a Barrister and author of Welcome to Britain has listed nine
current UK Refugee Integration Strategy.

The list is as stated below:

1. Keep them waiting for 2 or 3 years for an asylum decision.

2. During that time do not allow them to work.

3. Accommodate them in remote former military barracks, barges and hotels.

4. Allow them just £8.24 per week in support money.

5. Subject them to constant rhetorical abuse and enable far right demonstrators and upset local residents to target and protest against them.

6. Grant them asylum, which is effectively permanent residence (although they can easily become illegal by failing to renew on time).

7. Delay giving them the biometric residence permit they need to work, rent accommodation or get mainstream benefits but evict them from old accommodation anyway.

8. Which effectively makes many homeless (“welcome to Britain!”) and forces their local authority to support them as a homeless person.

9. Finally, complain, as Nick “I caused the £65m Windrush compensation scheme” Timothy does, that they are not net contributors and that they fail to integrate properly, taking resources away from other homeless people.
