Fears over whereabouts of 12 minors going from Algiers to Spain
The whereabouts of 12 minors heading to Spain from Algiers have become a source of worry to their relations, AlarmPhone has said.
Wondering about their whereabouts, AlarmPhone, said: “Where are they? ~12 minors left from #Algiers towards #Spain on Friday & have disappeared. We have alerted the authorities, but have no news of their fate. Their relatives are worried and their hopes are dwindling. #openborders !”
In a related development AlarmPhone also raised concern about the fate of 26 people stuck in on an Islet never Greece. The organisation said: “🆘 near #Kipoi, #Greece. We are in contact with ~27 people that are stuck on an islet in the #Evros river. While they have been there for several days, they report #pushbacks & violent attacks. We informed @hellenicpolice. Rescue is needed now!
“Since yesterday morning, we’ve lost contact with the group. All authorities we called either said they don’t know anything about them or did not pick up the phone. We are concerned about their well-being. Where are they?
