Amy Pope, IOM across the globe commemorate #WorldHumanitarianDay
As the world commemorates the 2023 #WorldHumanitarianDay, Amy Pope, the Director General –Elect of UN Migration agency International Organisation for Migration (IOM)) has thumbed up the staff for providing lifesaving protection to people on the move.
IOM organisations across the globe in the spirit of the celebration also hailed their staff and humanitarian workers all over the world for their efforts in putting humanity first.
Amy Pope on her Twitter handle said: “Humanitarian workers are often first to respond when a crisis strikes. I am proud to work alongside those at @UNmigration providing lifesaving protection to people on the move. Today on #WorldHumanitarianDay, we uplift their selfless and heroic efforts.”
