Rescued seven-month old baby needs urgent medical care
A seven-month baby rescued who was among 19 people saved by Nadir, needs urgent medical care.
Resqship disclosed this in a statement.
The statement reads: “Sunday at noon, #Nadir left Lampedusa, heading back to the area of operation. In less than 24 hours, our crew assisted 100 people in distress from 3 boats, providing first aid and reporting the distress at sea. In each case, the people were rescued by the IT authorities.
“Yesterday, #Nadir encountered a boat at severe risk of capzising with 19 people on board, incl. 7 children. Our crew decided to take the ppl on board of Nadir – a 7-month-old baby needed urgent medical care. Tonight, Nadir reached #Lampedusa, where all her guests went ashore.”
