Blue Dragon rescues six trafficked people in Myanmar

Blue Dragon, a non profit organization based in Vietnam, has within a space of time rescued six victims of human trafficking. 

The victims were rescued separately rescued in two operations in  Myanmar brothels.

The first set comprised four  trafficked victims from Vietnam.  Announcing the feat, Blue Dragon wrote: “Some great news: Blue Dragon has just rescued 4 young women who were trafficked from Vietnam into the brothels of Myanmar. All were deceived by a friend who claimed to have jobs for them. They have had a long and difficult journey home on foot and are now safely in our care.”

Before the above post, Blue Dragon had earlier announced the rescue of two victims. “Blue Dragon has rescued 2 sisters, aged 22 and 26, from a brothel in Myanmar. The women were deceived by a neighbor in southern Vietnam who promised them employment but instead sold them into slavery. They are on their way to being reunited with their family right now.”
