Caritas Nigeria, UNHCR,others mark World Day Against Trafficking in Persons

Caritas Nigeria, UNHCR, NAPTIP and other stakeholders have joined the world in marking the 2023  World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

 Caritas Nigeria shared information about the celebration on  Instagram. 

The post reads: “caritasnigeria Stakeholders are joining forces against #humantrafficking! @caritasnigeria in collaboration with @unhcr_nigeria under the Mixed Movements” project in #Edo and #Cross River states to mark the 2023 World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

“This year’s theme, “Reach every victim of trafficking, leave no one behind,” holds immense importance as relevant stakeholders in the Counter Trafficking field convene in Benin City, Edo State, for a collaboration meeting.

“The collective commitment to eradicating #humantrafficking remains steadfast. The focus is on identifying, protecting, and supporting victims of trafficking. This also ensures no one is neglected, and all victims receive appropriate care, attention, and justice.

“Stakeholders present at the event were: @officialnaptipnigeria, Edo Taskforce against Human Trafficking (ETAHT), the Nigerian Police Force, and @minofinteriorng.”
