Home Office removes 38 migrants from UK

Shortly after announcing that the Illegal Migration Bill had been passed into law, the Home Office yesterday said it had removed 38 migrants from the UK.

“Yesterday, we have returned 38 people with no right to be in the UK,” the Home Office said.

This, the Home Office said  included people who arrived on small boats and others convicted of crimes including supply and production of controlled drugs. “They have a combined sentence of over 46 years.”

Earlier, the Home Office had posted on its official website that the Illegal Migration Act is now law and had received Royal Assent.
