NAPTIP, Ghana agency strengthen ties
The existing working relationship between the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and the Economic and Organized Crime Commission ( EOCO), Ghana, was further strengthened on Friday as the Executive Director of the Commission, Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo- Danquah (Mrs), visited NAPTIP headquarters, Abuja.
Accompanied by some operatives of the Commission, the EOCO Executive Director who is also a Police Commissioner in Ghana, was received by the Director, Legal and Prosecution Department, Mr. Hassan Tahir, on behalf of the DG, @fatwaz16.
Discussions during the visit centred on the need for enhanced collaboration, intelligence sharing as well as referral between the two Institutions in order to accelerate the fight against human trafficking among the two Countries.
Both parties also pledged renewed cooperation.
