A video has revealed the level of Greece’s authorities brutality on migrants.

AlarmPhone in a post said: “Evros #pushback! A video shared with us show how a handcuffed person is pushed back by masked men in the Evros/Meriç region. It is yet another piece of evidence that demonstrates the brutality with which Greek forces act against people on the move.

“One of the videos shows a masked man moving a handcuffed & apparently unwell person onto a rubber boat, steered by another masked man. The group confirmed to us that the handcuffed person was their co-traveller & had crossed into Greece previously.”

This, the post said  is the result of what Ursula von der Leyen meant when referring to Greece as «Europe’s shield». “It shows why people might try to avoid Greek authorities: Because they are life-threatening for them. It’s a dilemma between unbelievable violence & death.”
