Blue Dragon rescues 16yr old from Myanmar brothel after two years in violent slavery
Blue Dragon, a non- governmental and non-profit organisation based in Vietnam, has rescued a 16-year-old girl from a Myanmar brothel after two years in violent slavery.
A post on the organization’s Twitter handle reads: “Since yesterday’s rescue of 2 young women, Blue Dragon has rescued a 16yr old girl from a Myanmar brothel after 2 years in violent slavery; and 2 more young women, aged 21 and 22, who were both trafficked as teens and sold as brides in China.
“The brutality of human trafficking is increasing as time goes by. Blue Dragon is committed to ending this terrible crime and know that it is a long road to get there. This cannot go on. We must re-create our world so that every person is safe and free.”
