Human smuggler’s accomplice arrested in Sabratha
Support Forces of Western Region Directorate have arrested in Sabratha a human smuggler’s accomplice of Egyptian nationality, Migrants Rescue Watch posted on its Twitter handle.
The accused, according to the post was acting as an intermediary between #migrants and smugglers organizing boat crossings. “The arrest was made possible when SFWRD patrols apprehended and interrogated 2 undocumented #migrants of Egyptian nationality who intended to emigrate illegal to EU. The investigation is ongoing and police is currently looking for an accomplice of Libyan nationality.”
