Uncertainty over 62 people on their way to Crete

Uncertainty is surrounding the situation of over 62 people on their way to Crete.

HCoastGuard informed told Alarm Phone  that a group of 64 people arrived by themselves on the island of #Gavdos but Alarm Phone said it believes this info matches that of a  group 62 people on their way to Crete.

Alarm Phone said: “SOS from ~62 people on their way to #Crete! We cannot reach the group themselves, but relatives told us that the people have been at sea for at least 28 hours. We alerted @HCoastGuard about their distress & urge them to start a search and rescue mission to find the group now!”

Thereafter, Alarm Phone said: “@HCoastGuard told us on the phone that the case was in the area of responsibility of the so-called #Libyan coastguard. They also said that they searched for them yesterday but couldn’t find them. We are worried about the fate of the group. Where are they?

“The @HCoastGuard informed us that a group of 64 people arrived by themselves on the island of #Gavdos. We believe this info matches this group. We are relieved that they arrived in #Greece!”
