Torture of Ethiopian, Eritrean migrants continues in Libya
More information has continued to surface online about Eritrean and Ethiopian migrants held captive by human traffickers in Libya.
The victims according to Refugees In Libya are being tortured in a Bali Walid Warehouse for the purpose of extorting money from them.
One of them was begging for help in a video, lamenting that his captors are daily subjecting him to unimaginable cruelty.
Refugees In Libya has been monitoring and making public the ugly developed.
The organisation in its latest update said: “For those reaching out to us on how they can help the Eritrean and Ethiopian women and boys held hostages, please bear with us we are still investigating the matter.
“We are in touch with an interpreter to help our team on the ground to speak to the victims, otherwise we cannot just feed the militias with the demanded ransom.
“So far we have received terrible accounts of how the women are being abused by intoxicated militias day and night.
“There are 3 women and two boys.
The second boy is tortured with scars all of over his back. Aaron Tadesse born and raised in Entecho 02 (Dlala).
The third boy is forced to work as an interpreter since he couldn’t pay his ransoms.
