Libyan Border Guard has rescued eight undocumented migrants
of sub-Saharan nationalities who crossed the Tunisian border and were stranded in the desert.
Migrant Rescue Watch posted on its Twitter handle that two #migrants were transferred to Al-Raqdalin Village Hospital for treatment and the remaining to HQ in Al Assah.
In a related development, units of General Directorate of Security Operations raided human trafficker’s farm in Zamzam Valley (on the road linking Abu Qurain and Al Jufra) and freed 139 undocumented migrants. The group was held captive and awaiting sale to another human trafficker.
